Schaftplaas is farm style hospitality offered in a rustic and tranquil environment, barefoot luxury to the max! You WILL not want to leave!
Schaftplaas offers a variety of accommodation options:
- 5 luxurious cottages
- Glamping, pitched canvas tents with beds and camp light. Guests just need to bring own bedding.
Cottages…
You will be swept away by any one of our five luxurious, self-catering cottages. Equipped for comfort and luxury, the old worldly and unique character of each cottage will simply steal your heart. Apart from its comfortable beds, each cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette, including a gas stove and microwave oven, a cozy lounge area and an undercover patio with a table and chairs. Linen, towels and basic amenities are provided. The cottages share a communal braai area (BBQ facilities) and garden, as well as separate braai drums and braai area’s available.

- This gentleman’s rustic charm delights and will make you and your family feel right at home.
- You tip the scale with fresh air and space to rest.
- A majestic double bed for the parents and another double bed upstairs, which is divided by a rustic farm gate.
- Fully equipped kitchen and lounge en-suite, plus outside table to enjoy your morning coffee or tea.
- The bathroom has double showers and is finished with wood to compliment the rugged feel of the cottage.
- Private patio and shared fire place.

- Double bed with crisp white linen and a view on the maze and a double sleeper couch on the loft.

- Decorated with some very sentimental items such as the double brass bed, chandelier, mirrors and vintage dress; Oematoievokes a touch of nostalgia.
- Pack your suitcase with your best and the room will do the rest.
- Furnished with 1 double bed, plus 2 single beds on the loft.
- Private en-suite bathroom with a shower for you to powder!
- Fully equipped kitchenette delivers to the cook’s every need.

Schaftplaas is a private family owned farm with a camping site which provides the perfect affordable family holiday at any time of the year.
Whether you prefer a holiday spot that comes with all four walls or an open space under the stars to park your caravan or tent, we have many relaxing options available to cater for your needs.
Our glamping canvas tents furnished with beds, a bedside table and light. You just bring your own bedding.
Schaftplaas offers the ideal opportunity for a refreshing early morning jog, a brisk hike through the veld and a safe playground for your kids on their bicycles.
